About the committee
The World Health Organisation is a specialized agency of the United Nations that coordinates the world's action of global health emergencies and initiatives. It's work includes identifying potential disease outbreaks, supporting research, evaluating and providing support to national healthcare systems in its member states and laying out the norms through which international health standards are set. The World Health Organisation works to establish strategies to respond to health epidemics by providing technical support and resources.
